Posted Tuesday 9th June 2015 at 22:30

All praises are due to the creator, that our annual oral exam was successfully completed on Saturday 6th June, following on from that, below are some key dates leading up to Ramadhan and beyond.

Firstly the annual Jalsa (student presentation and prize giving ceremony) this year will take place on Friday 12th June 2015 at 5PM all students must attend as this will be a normal Madrasah day. At the end of Jalsa students must return to their class to collect their end of year report and gift from their teacher. All family members and friends are invited to attend the gatherings, please come and show your support to our students.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to change the date for the end of year Party (dawat) to Wednesday 10th June 2015. Parents are advised to label tubs/bags with their child’s name. All students will have to take any food left over home after the party, to minimise wastage of food.

As stated before this year the madrasah will continue during the blessed month of Ramadhan. Students will move to their NEW classes on 16th June 2015 and commence the syllabus for the academic year 2015 – 2016. During the month of Ramadhan the madrasah times will be shorter, classes will START at 5:30PM until 7PM.

Hifz classes will be running at a slightly different time to the normal classes during the month of Ramadhan, this year Hifz class will start at 5:30PM and finish at 7:30PM, Monday to Sunday for the entire month of Ramadhan. It is important that students attend everyday as this will ensure that they continue to progress with their studies. Parents are requested to make sure students arrive on time and be prepared for Madrasah.

Madrasah will break up for Ramadhan and summer holidays on Monday 13th July 2015 for 5 weeks. Students will return to Madrasah on Monday 17th August 2015 at 5PM until 7PM as per normal hours, or 7:30PM for hifz classes and Aalimah class. Our madrasah annual calendar is now live on our website with key dates and holidays. Please book holidays during the Madrasah holidays which coincide with school holidays, to minimise disruption too your child’s Islamic education. Please follow us on our website which is kept updated with key information.

The Madrasah management and staff requests that you remember the Madrasah, all the staff and students in your dua’s during the month of Ramadhan.
