Summer Holidays

Dear Respected Parent/Guardian,

Assalamualaikum wa-rahmatu llahi wa-barakatuh, we pray you are in the best of health and Imaan.

As we come to the end of another Madrasah year, in which we have faced some very different and unexpected challenges which we would never have envisaged. However, this was the plan of Allah and we have to accept and carry on. We need to continue praying to Allah the almighty to remove this pandemic from the world.

Due to the current guidelines set out by the government, we have been unable to resume Madrasah and complete the year as we normally do, with end of year exams (Imtihaan) and prize giving ceremonies etc, but this was beyond our control!

This year the summer holidays will commence on Friday 17th July 2020, for 5 weeks. The planned opening of Madrasah is Tuesday 25th August 2020. We will release more details closer to time on the opening of the Madrasah, what the process and procedure will be, this will be in line with government guidelines.

During the holiday please ensure your child continues to revise their lessons, on a daily basis. Those students in Hifz Class must continue to practice their revision (Dhor) to ensure they don’t forget what has been learnt, and also learn ahead (Sabak) as stipulated by their teachers.

We still have spaces available for the next academic year, especially for children aged around 5 years old, if you still haven’t returned the application form please do so to the masjid, or you can post it to the above address, marking the envelope clearly with “Madrasah Application”. Do not forget to include a photocopy of proof of age.

Those parents who still have outstanding fees, please can you make arrangements for payment via bank transfer for which you will require your child’s class.

Once again, we ask you to continue making dua to Allah to deliver us from this pandemic and once again bestow us with the bounties of Deen and Dunya. Ameen
